I-76 West Ramp To 30th Street Closing For 1 Month: PennDOT

The ramp will be shut down for a month as crews work on ramp and viaduct construction, PennDOT said.

PHILADELPHIA – Westbound Interstate 76 will be reduced to a single lane this Friday night, July 20, between the 30th Street and Interstate 676 for ramp and viaduct construction in Philadelphia, PennDOT said.

Beginning at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, July 21, the ramp from westbound I-76 to 30th Street will close for one month to complete repairs and resurfacing. During the month-long closure, I-76 West motorists normally using the ramp will be directed to exit at South Street, turn right on South Street, left on 22nd Street and left on Market Street to reach 30th Street.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the construction areas because slowdowns will occur.
