ANN MCGLAUFLIN - Creative Artist, Textile Entrepreneur

The presentation below speaks about the importance of fabric design and creation in the U.S. and the Far East. What wasn't discussed because of limitations of presentation space was the impact the war in Ukraine is having on the textile industry through the region. In particular, textile industry growth is robust throughout the Baltic States (Lituania, Estonia, and Estonia) as well as Poland and the Nordic states. Each of these is feared to be in danger of attack from Russia following the takeover of Ukraine. Production and marketing will become stymied until there is a resolution. The economic impact of the Russian invasion on these countries is expected to be severe resulting in companies like International Fabrics & Creation to seek markets elsewhere. Consequently, the company is expected to use a part of this funding to expand its efforts in other textile-rich markets. Specifically, African and select South American countries are still ripe for development by a company such as International Fabrics and Creation. With an entrepreneur with the talent and creative ideas such as Ms. Mcglauflin these markets could be advantageous over the short and long term. Further, with an offer bearing 20% interest for the next few years such an investment will offer a hedge against rampant inflation. Please continue to read the presentation below as originally presented.

Funds utilized beyond those cited above will be used for expansion including addditional professional personnel familiar with the industry’s needs.

She travels extensively testing various fabrics and materials with innovative capabilities that often have unique qualities and characteristics preferred by sophisticated clients who are themselves testing unusual markets with very large demand.

For example, most who have seen various current TV ads would recognize those boasting of specialized cotton for bedding materials to include pillows, cases, sheets and mattress covers all from materials with specialized characteristics. Other specialized materials include uses for undergarments of which there are now several companies vying for the consumer dollar.

There are always new applications for specialized fabrics and materials for which Ms. Mcglauflin seeks useful end promise. There are always new projects and new products in line. The missing ingredient is funding.

The markets identified above and ongoing are exploding all because of the unique creative ability of experts like Ann Mcglauflin. Funding is the key to success in this unique business. Speed and adequate funding are mandatory for success.

Ms. Mcglauflin travels extensively in search of clients and materials to meet today’s demands. A good deal of this travel is in countries where these materials can be found. Currently she can be found in the Far East , where, you might recognize, we find many of our clothing materials. She works with the manufacturer and oversees the demands the project requires. While she is homebased in New Jersey she travels wherever needed.

The demands of this burgeoning industry and her dedication to her craft require continuing access to funds. Presently she is at the forefront of this distinctive business which requires talent, design and materials expertise. However, without proper funding this window will quickly close.

Use of Funds. This first tranch of funds will be utilized to add an additional member to the team whose prime function will be to travel in other parts of the world seeking new and innovative materials. Some funds will be necessary to pay for deposits and “wait time” Other uses will be directed toward Research and Development and to satisfy current Payables. With the addition of this first $100,000 revenues should double.
