The 2-month warning period is about to end.
PHILADELPHIA — Starting Friday, drivers will be fined for violations caught on a new set of traffic cameras along Route 13 (Frankford Avenue) in Northeast Philadelphia.
There are six automated speed-enforcement cameras along the roadway. Since April, drivers caught speeding on camera have received warnings in the mail, according to the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA).
Starting at 12:01 a.m. Friday, drivers caught traveling more than 11 mph over the speed limit will be fined between $100 and $150. No points are assigned to the driver's license.
