Killers Of Philadelphia Garbage Man Identified: Philadelphia Police
Police said Rasheem Trusty and Nushar Scott are wanted in connection with the killing of sanitation worker Ikeem Johnson on Nov. 18
PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police have identified two suspects in the deadly shooting of a Philadelphia sanitation worker last month.
According to police, Rasheem Trusty, 30, and Nushar Scott, 39, are wanted on charged of murder and related crimes in connection with the death of Ikeem Johnson.
Johnson, a five-year member of the city's Streets Department, was shot and killed while on duty at 10:33 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 on the 7300 block of Rowland Avenue.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said a man got the sanitation truck Johnson was working on to stop.
The shooter came up to the truck's passenger side where Johnson was, and Johnson got out.

Outlaw said that's when the gunman shot Johnson several times.
Police believed Johnson was targeted.
Authorities said Trusty and Scott were in a dark Subaru Outback, between 2015 and 2019 model years, with a roof rack, dark tinted windows, and an unknown Pennsylvania license plate.
A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Johnson's killers.
