But first, today's weather:

Mostly sunny and breezy. High: 65 Low: 44.

📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Philadelphia who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.

I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Philadelphia Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.

Here are the top stories in Philadelphia today:

  1. Pennsylvania House Republicans made good on their word and filed articles of impeachment against Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner. "We must do something to free the people of Philadelphia from the crime and violence crisis that has destroyed lives and property and made Philadelphians prisoners of fear," said Pennsylvania House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff (R-Centre/Mifflin). The impeachment articles now go to trial in the PA Senate. (inquirer.com)
  2. Not one, but two Bryce Harper murals have been painted in Philadelphia. The Phillies fever has spread to street art-the epitome of legendary status in this city. Harper's image, painted by Joey Dougherty, can be seen on an exterior wall of Dougherty Electric at 45 E. Porter St., near the I-95 underpass. A second, created by artist Nero, was created at 12th and Christian Streets on a rowhome attachment .(inquirer.com)
  3. According to federal authorities, six Philadelphia-area residents have been accused of stealing Pandemic Unemployment Assistance funds totaling over $1 million dollars. Over 100 fake unemployment benefit applications were submitted as part of this scheme and listed only one address in Philadelphia. After the benefits were mailed to this address, those charged allegedly accessed either the checks or debit cards and spent the funds. (Patch)
