Man, 20, Dies After Being Shot Multiple Times In Philadelphia: Police

A 20-year-old man was shot multiple times in his chest Friday afternoon and died about an hour later, Philadelphia Police said.

PHILADELPHIA — A man died in a Friday afternoon shooting, Philadelphia Police said.

The shooting occurred at about 2:04 p.m. on the unit block of East Armat Street, according to police.

A 20-year-old man was shot multiple times in his upper chest, police said.

He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:50 p.m.

Police have not recovered any weapons.
