Man Attacked 5 People Monday Morning On Market St: Philadelphia Police
Philadelphia Police said Donnell Bruce, 36, has been charged with aggravated assault, robbery, and more crimes after the Monday incidents.

PHILADELPHIA — A man accused of assaulting four people was taken into custody and charged by Philadelphia Police, authorities said.
Police said Donnell Bruce, 36, has been charged with aggravated assault, robbery, simple assault, resisting arrest, and other related offenses.
According to police, at about 7:15 a.m. Monday, a man assaulted three elderly individuals, two women and one man, pushing them to the ground in an unprovoked attack near the 2200 block of Market Street.

Following the initial assault, the offender continued west on Market Street, where he attacked a 22-year-old woman, striking her in the face with a closed fist and knocking her to the ground, police said.
He then tried to steal a bag from a 77-year-old man. When the man resisted, the offender punched him in the mouth.

Officers quickly found the suspect and, after a brief foot pursuit, detained him.
