Man Charged In Attack On Woman Along Schuylkill River Trail
A 24-year-old man is accused of beating a woman on the Schuylkill River Trail Friday morning.
PHILADELPHIA — A woman was beaten Friday morning on the Schuylkill River Trail in Philadelphia, and a 24-year-old man has been charged in connection.
Charged is Davine Butler, of Philadelphia.
Authorities filed aggravated assault, robbery, recklessly endangering another person, and more charges in connection with the Friday attack.

The victim was on the trail in the Center City area when, at about 9:15 a.m., Butler attacked her, according to Action News.
The woman, 56, was slammed to the ground and punched several times, Fox 29 reports.

Butler is also accused of throwing her phone into the Schuylkill River.
He is being held after failing to post 10 percent of $20,000 bail.
Butler is scheduled for a Nov. 4 preliminary hearing, court records show.
According to court documents, Butler is also facing robbery and assault charges in connection with a July 11 incident.
