Man Fatally Shot In Old City Wednesday Night
A 33-year-old man was shot dead at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, near 2nd and Chestnut streets after approaching a vehicle.
PHILADELPHIA — A man died after being shot Wednesday night in Philadelphia, according to police.
Police were called to the unit block of South Second Street at about 11:26 p.m. for a person of a person with a gun and man shot.
There, officers found a man lying on the highway with multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

The man, identified as 33-year-old Michael Clemens, was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:04 a.m.
A loaded firearm was found at the scene next to the Clemens, police said.

NBC10 reports Clemens approached a vehicle at that time and in that area, but was shot to death by someone in the vehicle.
According to Fox 29, five shell casings were found at the scene.
No arrests have been made, and the motive for the shooting remains unknown.
