Man Killed After Being Shot In Head Wednesday Night: Philly Police

Philadelphia authorities offer a $20,000 reward for information leading to arrests and convictions in all homicide cases.

PHILADELPHIA — A man died after being shot in the back of the head and throughout his body Wednesday night in Philadelphia

The man, who was 35 to 40 years old, was shot at about 6:45 p.m. at 300 West Cumberland Street, police.

He was found with one gunshot wound to the back of his head and multiple gunshots throughout his body, according to authorities.

Police took him to Temple University Hospital, where he was in critical condition before dying at 8:33 p.m.

No arrests have been made, and no weapons were found, police said.
