Philadelphia Police said a man is in stable condition after being shot twice in his forearm Friday morning in West Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA — A man was shot Friday morning in West Philadelphia, according to Philadelphia Police.

The shooting happened at about 9:27 a.m. on the 4400 block of Parrish Street.

Police said a 26-year-old man was shot twice in his left forearm.

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.

One person was taken into custody, but authorities did not find any weapons.
