Man Shot Numerous Times In 'Execution' Killing

The deadly shooting occurred at about 7 p.m. Wednesday on the 1500 block of Snyder Avenue. Three men are being sought in connection.

PHILADELPHIA — A man was shot "execution style" numerous times in Philadelphia Wednesday night in Philadelphia, according to authorities.

The fatal incident occurred at about 7 p.m. on the 1500 block of Snyder Avenue, police said.

Officers were called to the area for a report of a person with a gun and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when they showed up.

That man, identified as 25-year-old Kaishef Johnson, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:08 p.m.

Police said Johnson was riding a bicycle on that block when three unknown men, dressed in all black and wearing masks and gloves, got out of a burgundy Nissan parked on Snyder Avenue at 15th Street.

They came up to Johnson, with all three appearing to fire shots at him.

Johnson was struck multiple times.

Police said the men were seen on camera standing over Johnson, firing multiple shots at him after already shooting him as he rode the bike.

More than 40 shell casings were found at the scene, according to Fox 29.

They drove off, heading east on Snyder Avenue towards Broad Street in the same Nissan.

At about 11 p.m., officers found the vehicle unattended at 2000 S. Front St.
