Man Shot While Walking To Friend's House: Philadelphia Police

Philadelphia Police said a 28-year-old man was shot in the leg as he was walking to his friend's house early Monday evening.

PHILADELPHIA — A man was shot while walking to a friend's house early Monday evening in <Philadelphia, police said.

The shooting occurred at about 6:23 p.m. on the 5400 block of Chancellor Street.

According to police, the victim, a 28-year-old man, was walking on that block when he was shot in his right thigh.

He was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition, police said.

Police have not found any weapons or made any arrests.
