Man Sought In Deadly June 30 Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are asking for help finding a man suspected of a June 30 murder. A $20,000 reward is available for information leading to the suspect's arrest and conviction.
The man seen above is sought in connection with the shooting death of Carlton Brown, 43, according to police.
Brown was fatally shot at about 3:17 a.m. Sunday, June 30 on the 1400 block of Kerper Street, police said.

Officers were called to the area for a report of a person with a gun and found Brown there, suffering from a gunshot wound to his head, police said.
Brown, of the 1300 block of Knorr Street, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:24 a.m.

Police said a preliminary investigation revealed that officers patrolling around the 6700 block of Castor Avenue were approached by a civilian who reported a body on the highway.
The officers were directed to Kerper Street, where they found Brown.
The suspect is described as a black man, who was wearing a black hoodie featuring a picture of Marilyn Monroe in a Philadelphia football jersey with the number 11. He was last seen fleeing the scene on a bicycle.
