Man Stabbed To Death Outside South Philadelphia Wawa: Reports

A man was found dead in his vehicle outside a South Philadelphia Wawa hours after he went into the store to buy food, according to reports.

PHILADELPHIA — A man died after being stabbed outside a South Philadelphia Wawa early Monday morning, according to reports.

The incident unfolded at about 4:20 a.m. Monday outside the Wawa located at 1602 S. Columbus Boulevard.

According to Action News, the victim — a man in his 50s — went to the store at about 2 a.m. to buy food, then went to his vehicle to eat it.

A few hours later, workers noticed the man was still in his vehicle then called police, NBC10 reports.

Police showed up and found the man had been stabbed and was dead in his vehicle, according to Fox 29.

The Wawa will be closed as police investigate the incident.
