Men Wanted In Early Morning New Year's Day Attack

Philadelphia Police said the men seen here are sought in connection with an attack on another man not long after they rang in the New Year.

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are asking for help finding several men who attacked another man in the early morning hours of New Year's Day.

The attack occurred at about 2:28 a.m. Jan. 1 on the 100 block of North 12th Street.

Police said the victim, a 25-year-old man, was walking on that block when he got into an argument with several men.

The men attacked the victim, punching him and tackling him to the ground, police said.

He was taken to Jefferson Hospital, where he was treated for cuts to his face and a sprained right ankle.
