Millions Sign Petition To Change NBA Logo To Kobe's Silhouette

More than 2 million people have signed a petition in hopes of changing the NBA logo to that of the late great's silhouette.

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Kobe Bryant’s fans are joining together in a quest to honor him in a different way. A petition to change the NBA logo image to a silhouette of Bryant has now gotten more than 2 million signatures.

The current logo is a silhouette of another NBA legend — former Los Angeles Laker and now NBA executive Jerry West.

West also happens to be the person who orchestrated the draft-day trade in 1996 that brought Bryant to the Lakers.
