Woman Found Dead In Car Amid Freezing Temperatures In PA: Reports

Bessie Watson, 92, was found dead in the back seat of a neighbor's car amid dangerously low temperatures Tuesday afternoon in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA — A 92-year-old woman who police reported missing Monday has reportedly been found dead in a vehicle amid dangerously low temperatures.

On Monday, police said Bessie Watson, 92, was last seen at about 2 p.m. Sunday at her home on the 1700 block of Georges Lane.

According to NBC10, emergency responders were called to that same block for a report of a woman in the back of parked car Tuesday afternoon.

The woman in the car was Watson, and the vehicle belonged to a neighbor, Fox 29 reports. Watson was deceased in the vehicle.

Police said she suffered from cognitive decline, which Action News reported as being dementia.
