If you rely on the Schuylkill Expressway at night, expect detours via Arch, Chestnut, Walnut, and Schuylkill Avenue, and allow extra time for backups near the Market Street Bridge construction.

Philadelphia couple uses hidden GPS trackers to help police find stolen SUV (nbcphiladelphia.com) — A Philadelphia couple in East Kensington used hidden AirTag GPS trackers to help police recover their stolen Dodge Durango after it was taken from Jasper Street early Friday morning. They relayed live location updates to officers, who eventually found the SUV several miles away, though badly damaged, and Philadelphia police detectives are now investigating possible links to other thefts.
   

4. Community block party in North Philadelphia promotes connection, support and youth mental health (6abc.com) — Neighbors in North Philadelphia gathered near 28th and Allegheny this holiday weekend for a block party centered on youth mental health, family support, and community connection. Organized by the Show Me the Way Foundation with police and local groups present, the event offered resources, entertainment, and a chance to highlight positive neighborhood stories while strengthening relationships among residents.
