Patti LaBelle Playing Philadelphia Concert In December
The Philadelphia native and Grammy-award winning soul singer is bringing her talents to The Met Philadelphia this winter.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia’s "Godmother of Soul" Patti LaBelle is planning to perform this winter at The Met Philadelphia.
LaBelle, who was born and raised in Philadelphia and still makes her home in the region, will perform Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Broad Street theater.
Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday online here.

“Each year I grow, and that’s a blessing from God,"LaBelle said in the show announcement. "I do what I can do. I do what I feel God has given me the energy to do, so I just go out there and I do it…it’s not about making money because I don’t need money, but I need to sing. With a voice or without, I’ve got to get on that stage."
LaBelle is not only a singer, she's an actress, baker, and cookbook author.
