PECO To Suspend Disconnections During Coronavirus Outbreak
Workers who are not getting paid during the emergency need not worry, as PECO is suspending service disconnections through at least May 1.
PHILADELPHIA — PECO said it is suspending disconnections as the country deals with an outbreak of the new coronavirus, known as COVID-19. According to PECO, service disconnections have been suspended through at least May 1.
Additionally, the power company is waiving new late payment charges through at least May 1.
PECO serves 1.6 million electric customers and more than 511,000 natural gas customers in Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties, as well as parts of Lancaster, Montgomery, and York counties.

Customers should contact PECO at 1-888-480-1533 for payment arrangements and credit issues.
PECO said it has plans in place to continue electric and natural gas service for customers. The company does not expect and service disruptions due to the outbreak.

PECO closed its Customer Solution Center, so customers in need of assistance should call PECO Customer Service at 1-800-494-4000 or visit PECO's website here to use its online tools.
