Person Of Interest Sought After Woman Found Dead In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA — Authorities in Philadelphia are looking for a 34-year-old man in connection with the death of a 51-year-old woman, whose body was found wrapped in a blanket and towel this weekend.

According to multiple reports, police have identified Miguel Aguilar, 34, as a person of interest after Ivelissa Lugo, 51, was found dead Saturday.

NBC10 reports Aguilar is Lugo's estranged husband.

Police said Lugo's estranged husband owns a 2006 Chevy Express van with Pennsylvania license plate #ZRR-4023, with a cross on the rear door.

Lugo was reported missing Saturday.

She was last seen at about 8:15 a.m. Saturday on the 5900 block of Elsinore Street.

Authorities first went to the area to take the missing person report Saturday. They later went back to a home in the area, where they found Lugo's body in a residential garage, police said.

She was pronounced dead at 4:12 p.m.

Her cause of death has not been determined.

Police have not made any arrests or found any weapons.
