Philadelphia Is Nation's 3rd Worst City For Driving: WalletHub
WalletHub also said Philly is among the worst for parking rates and for local accidents when compared to the national average.
PHILADELPHIA — Driving in Philadelphia can be really, really tough. So tough in fact that WalletHub said driving in Philly is the third worst driving experience in the nation.
WalletHub released its ranks of 2019’s Best & Worst Cities to Drive in.
Philadelphia was ranked No. 98 out of a 100-city list.

The only cities to top Philly as the worst were Okaland, California (No. 99) and Detroit, Michigan (No. 100).
WalletHub examined the 100 largest cities across 30 key indicators of driver-friendliness. Data used included average gas prices, annual hours in traffic congestion per auto commuter, and auto-repair shops per capita.

Philadelphia was ranked among the highest for likelihood of accidents compared to the national average and it was ranked among the highest parking rates, as well.
Raleigh, North Carolina; Orlando, Florida; Lincoln, Nebraska; Tampa, Florida; and Winston-Salem, North Carolina make up the top 5 best places for driving, respectively, according to WalletHub.
