Philadelphia Rapper LGP QUA Identified As Man Killed In Juniata Park Shooting, Police Say

A man who was shot and killed in Juniata Park over the weekend was identified by police Monday as a rapper from North Philadelphia.

Philadelphia police said 30-year-old Qidere Johnson, who went by the stage name LGP QUA, was shot near M and East Luzerne streets on Sunday, May 11, around 4:40 p.m.

Johnson was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle after the shooting, police said, and was pronounced dead about 20 minutes after officers first got to the scene.
