Philly Airport Ranks Last In JD Power Passenger Satisfaction Survey
The Philadelphia International Airport was ranked 27th of 27 large North American airports in a new satisfaction survey from J.D. Power.

PHILADELPHIA — Of 27 large airports in North America, Philadelphia International Airport is ranked 27th in terms of passenger satisfaction.
That's according to results of a new survey from J.D. Power.
The consumer research, data, and analytics firm asked about 26,500 people between August 2021 through July 2022 about airport factors such as access, check-in, security check, terminal facilities, food/beverage/retail, and baggage claim.

And with those considered, Philadelphia International Airport scored 729 out of a possible 1,000 points, putting it at the bottom of the list of 27 large airports.
According to J.D. Power, satisfaction with North American airports was at an all-time high in 2021.

But 2022's factors, such as labor shortages and increased passenger loads, brought overall satisfaction down, the results show.
The results show, overall, satisfaction is down 25 points (on a 1,000-point scale) for 2022 as travelers encounter fewer flights, more crowded terminals and sparse food and beverage offerings.

23. St. Louis Lambert International Airport
24. LaGuardia Airport
25. Kansas City International Airport
26. Honolulu International Airport
27. Philadelphia International Airport
The top five large airports according to the study are:
- Tampa International Airport
- John Wayne Airport, Orange County
- Dallas Love Field
- Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
- Raleigh-Durham International Airport
