Philly Expanding Satellite Election Office Hours Tuesday

Tuesday is the deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot, so Philadelphia is expanding the hours of its satellite election offices.

PHILADELPHIA — Pennsylvanians have until Tuesday to request a mail-in ballot for the general election, and to help voters get mail-in ballots the city of Philadelphia is expanding the hours of its 17 satellite election offices in the city.

Tuesday is the deadline for mail-in ballot requests in Pennsylvania.

So on Tuesday, all satellite election offices will open at 9:30 a.m.

Those who are submitting an application for a mail-in ballot Tuesday must be in line by 5 p.m.

Anyone who arrives at a satellite election office after 5 p.m. legally cannot submit a paper application.

Satellite election offices will return to normal operating hours — 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays — on Wednesday.
