Philly Holding Off On Posting New Mail-In Totals Until Wednesday

City officials said while mail-in and absentee ballots are still being counted, new totals won't be reported until Wednesday morning.

PHILADELPHIA — Mail-in and absentee ballots are still being counted in Philadelphia, but we won't know updated counts until Wednesday.

City Commissioners, who oversee elections, said no new mail-in voting totals will be reported until Wednesday morning.

Workers will be counting the ballots until they are all tallied, but residents won't see new mail-in totals until about 9:30 at the earliest.

The city's election website says mail-in totals will be posted Wednesday between 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.; 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.; and 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Officials said election staff will post results at least twice daily in the coming days at times determined by the Deputy City Commissioners.
