Philly Man Killed In Wisconsin Plane Crash: Local Authorities

PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia man died in a plane crash Monday in Wisconsin, according to local authorities.
Sean Tommervik, 37, of Philadelphia, died along with 32-year-old James G. Sullivan, of Brooklyn, in the crash, Winnebago County Sheriff's Office said.
According to authorities, emergency crews were called to a farm field in Nekimi, Wisconsin at about 12:15 p.m. Monday for a report of a plane crash.

The crash site was about two miles from an air show event, the sheriff's office said.
First responders found a downed plane fully engulfed in flames, the sheriff's office said.

The crashed plane was a Lancair Super ES, owned by Tommervik, authorities said.
Tommervik and Sullivan are believed to have been the only occupants of the aircraft.
"Our deepest condolences are with the family and friends of the deceased occupants," the sheriff's office said."
Local authorities said the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
