Philly Mass Shooting Leaves 8 Hurt, 1 Dead: Police
Several of the victims were teenagers, police said.
PHILADLEPHIA, PA — Eight people were injured and one was killed in a mass shooting incident in Philadelphia late in the evening on 4th of July.
The incident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. near 60th Street and Kingsessing Avenue, just blocks from Mount Moriah Cemetery and the Cobbs Creek Parkway.
Several of the victims were teenagers, authorities said.

Officers were on patrol in the area when they came across bodies lying in the street.
Surviving victims were taken to nearby hospitals where they are recovering.

No arrests have been announced and a motive for the shooting remains unclear. Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
