'Philly Special' Statue Unveiled At Lincoln Financial Field
Philly Special...yeah there's a statue for that.

PHILADELPHIA – We all remember the Philly Special play in which Philadelphia Eagles running back Corey Clement took the direct snap, flipped the football to tight end Trey Burton, who rolled right, and threw a touchdown pass to quarterback Nick Foles for a touchdown in the Bird's Super Bowl LII victory over the New England Patriots.
The moment Foles and Eagles head coach Doug Pederson decided to run the trick play that earned a spot in football history is now immortalized outside Lincoln Financial Field in a nine-foot-tall bronze statue.
Bud Light enlisted a Town Crier to issue an official proclamation, as Nick Kelly, Anheuser-Busch Head of US Sports Marketing, lifted a cloak to reveal the statue in a special ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 5. The statue is placed at HeadHouse Plaza outside the Linc.

The bronze statue took four months to construct and was created by Utah-based artist Raymond Gibby.

The statue was unveiled just in time for the Eagles first regular season game against the Atlanta Falcons Thursday at the Linc.
"Do you want Philly Philly?" is etched into the base of the statue, which features Foles in full gear and Pederson complete with visor, headset, and play chart. The base also is etched with "Super Bowl LII" and the date, February 4, 2018, of Super Bowl LII.
