Body Found On SEPTA's Market Frankford Line, Trains Delayed

Breaking: Police are investigating after a body was found on SEPTA's Market Frankford line late Monday morning.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A body was found on SEPTA's Market Frankford line late Monday morning near Girard Station in Fishtown, SEPTA officials confirmed.

The body was found just before noon. It's not yet clear what transpired, and SEPTA police and Philadelphia police are on the tracks investigating.

The incident led to delays on the Market Frankford line up to 15 minutes.
