Police Cruiser Crashes Into Civilian Vehicle Monday In Philadelphia
The civilian driver was taken to a hospital for evaluation after the Monday morning crash, police said.
PHILADELPHIA — A Philadelphia Police cruiser crashed into a civilian vehicle Monday morning, police said.
The crash occurred at about 6:09 a.m. at the intersection of 57th Street and Larchwood Avenue, police said.
According to police, an officer was driving a marked patrol vehicle when it became "involved with a private vehicle."

NBC10 reports the police cruiser's lights and sirens were on as it was responding to a call when it collided with the car.
The civilian driver was taken to Jefferson Hospital for evaluation. Their condition is unknown.

The crash is under investigation.
