Police Cut Pro Trump March Short Over Safety Concerns: Report
Police halted the march due to a potential conflict with protestors, but later allowed the group to continue their march.

It's a story we've been seeing for at least the past year: a pro-Trump rally or march is planned only to have a counter movement meet it with just as much, if not more, zeal.
That's what happened Saturday in Philadelphia, as a MAGA March in support of President Donald Trump's administration, law enforcement, and veterans was met with a disruption march at Independence Hall.
With both marches planned for 11:30 a.m. at the historic site, police ended up cutting the MAGA March short due to safety concerns, according to Philly.com.

The outlet reports by 1 p.m. police told the pro-Trump marchers they were not permitted to march, despite having proper approval, due to safety concerns.
However, by 2 p.m. police allowed the group to continue their march with a truncated route to avoid City Hall, Philly.com reports.

Police told the outlet there was potential for an "imminent conflict" between both groups.
No one was injured during the day and only two disorderly conduct citations were issued to two anti-Trump marchers, the outlet reports.
