Popeye's Worker Stabs Customer After Argument Leads To Fight
Police said the customer started fighting with two workers over a dispute regarding an order, and one worker stabbed the man in defense.
PHILADELPHIA — A worker at a North Philadelphia Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen location is cooperating with police after he stabbed a customer late Tuesday night, according to police.
The situation began at about 11:04 p.m. Tuesday at the store located at 6000 N. Broad St.
According to Fox 29, the person stabbed, 28, was picking up an order when he got into an argument with store employees.

Police told NBC10 the customer started fighting with the workers, which led one of the workers to pull out a knife.
That employee, 34 years old, stabbed the customer in the head and torso before the customer ran off, Action News reports.

The customer was found nearby and taken into custody. He is in stable condition.
The employee remained at the scene to cooperate with police.
Police have not announced charges against the worker.
