Racetrack Jet Air Dryer Brought In To Help I-95 Rebuild
Pocono Raceway is lending a hand to the Interstate 95 rebuild effort by bringing in its massive air jet dryer to keep the road surface dry.
PHILADELPHIA — Crews working on Interstate 95 to reopen it this weekend have a new tool to expedite the process in the (likely) event of wet weather.
Pocono Raceway said on social media that the racetrack's jet is on scene if crews need it.
The jet dryer, used to dry off the racetrack, will be used to dry the potentially wet road so crews can paint traffic lines.

"We’ll be on standby if needed to dry the road in order for line painting to not be delayed," the social media post reads.

Paving of the temporary highway is already underway.
Once the paving is done, line striping will begin.
Gov. Josh Shapiro Tuesday said the temporary highway will be open sometime this weekend.
"Thank you to all the men & women working around the clock to get I-95 reopened this weekend," the raceway said online.
