Range Rover Rolls Into Schuylkill River: Reports

A couple was reportedly making out in the vehicle when it shifted gears, rolling into the river. The couple was able to escape the vehicle.

PHILADELPHIA — A vehicle rolled into the Schuylkill River early Wednesday morning in Philadelphia, according to reports.

The incident occurred at about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 1900 block of Kelly Drive, NBC10 reports.

A couple was in a parked Range Rover, reportedly making out, when the vehicle shifted into gear and began heading toward the river, according to Action News.

Fox 29 reports a man and woman in the vehicle were able to get out before the vehicle plunged into the water.

It's unclear if crews are still working to remove the vehicle from the river.
