Rape, Shooting Suspect Wanted In Philly Captured In Midwest: Marshals
The U.S. Marshals Service said Damonte Lewis, 32, was wanted in connection with a June 24 rape and double shooting.
PHILADELPHIA — A man wanted in connection with a rape and double shooting in Philadelphia was taken into custody by federal authorities recently.
The U.S. Marshals Service Wednesday said Damonte Lewis, 32, was taken into custody in Kansas City, Missouri.
Authorities said Lewis raped a 39-year-old woman on June 24.
