Residential Fire Kills 87-Year-Old Woman In Philadelphia: Reports

A Tuesday morning fire on the 3500 block of Frankford Avenue in Kensington took the life of an 87-year-old woman, reports state.

PHILADELPHIA — An 87-year-old woman died in a Tuesday morning fire in Kensington, according to reports.

The fire broke out at about 9:50 a.m. on the 3500 block of Frankford Avenue, NBC10 reports.

Firefighters on scene found a rowhome on fire and worked to extinguish the blaze, Action News reports.

The woman was found inside the home and later pronounced dead, according to Fox 29.
