Road Closing Thursday For Night Market In Philadelphia: Police

Philadelphia Police said set up for the Night Market in the Burholme area will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday, closing part of Rising Sun Avenue.

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia's Night Market will be in the Burholme neighborhood Thursday evening, which means road closures in the are.

The Night Market will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, May 17 between the 7000 and 7200 blocks of Rising Sun Avenue.

Set up for the market will begin at 3 p.m.

From 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Rising Sun Avenue will close between Cottman and Tyson avenues, according to police.

A police detail will be assigned to the event but traffic in the area may be heavy at times, police said.
