Road Rage Shooting On Interstate 95 Leaves Driver Hurt: State Police

A driver suffered a graze wound to their arm after another driver opened fire on them Monday night on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia.

PHILADELPHIA — Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a shooting on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia Monday night.

The incident occurred at about 8:44 p.m. Monday on Interstate 95 north near the Bartram Avenue on-ramp.

Troopers were called to the area for a report of a road rage shooting and found the victim suffering from a bullet graze wound.

The suspect vehicle is a white older model, 1999 to 2002, two-door cloth-top Volvo sedan, possibly at C70 or similar model, with a Pennsylvania license plate.

State police said the suspect was a black, non-Hispanic male with dreadlocks.

Authorities said the suspect and victim were involved in a road rage dispute, during which the suspect fired a gun at the victim one time.

The suspect fled northbound on I-95 past the Broad Street Exit.
