Robber Shot After Victim Gains Control Of Gun In Philadelphia: Reports

The would-be armed robber was shot when the would-be victim was able to wrest the gun from his attacker, according to reports.

PHILADELPHIA — The tables were turned on a would-be armed robber Wednesday morning in Philadelphia when the victim managed to take the crook's gun and shoot him.

According to Action News, the incident occurred at about 11:24 a.m. Wednesday on the 8000 block of Rodney Street.

A 24-year-old man told the victim, who was unloading groceries from a vehicle, he was robbing him, the outlet reports.

The two then struggled, and the victim was able to wrest the gun away from his assailant, Fox 29 reports.

A round was fired, grazing the robber's stomach.
