See 'Jurassic Park' With The Philadelphia Orchestra At The Mann Center

Dinosaurs, Fairmount Park on a summer night, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and John Williams' spine-tingling score: not a bad combination.

PHILADELPHIA, PA — See dinosaurs brought to life on the massive screen at the Mann Center, as the Philadelphia Orchestra sounds out John Williams' epic score right before your eyes.

The unique event will take place on Saturday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m.

The 1993 adaptation of Michael Crichton's novel propelled the story to franchise heights and international fame.

Starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum, the Steven Speilberg-helmed epic imagines a science experiment gone horribly wrong. Dinosaurs are brought back to life on a remote island in the Pacific. It's meant to be a theme park, but entropy quickly sets in.
