Cherelle Parker Projected As Philly's Next Mayor: Unofficial Results

PHILADELPHIA — Not long after polls closed Tuesday, Democrat Cherelle Parker was projected to win the Philadelphia mayoral race.

NBC and ABC both report Parker is the projected winner over Republican David Oh.

As of 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, Parker has 209,003 votes and Oh 71,738.

Results will be considered unofficial until all votes, including those cast via mail and in ballot drop boxes, have been counted.

With an increase in voting by mail, official results likely won't be available for a few days.
