South Philadelphia Actress Stars in Disney's "Aladdin Jr."

Domenica Passio performs in the Walnut Street Theatre's upcoming production of Disney's Aladdin Jr.

Shining, shimmering, splendid! A young actress from South Philadelphia stars as the headstrong Princess Jasmine in the Walnut Street Theatre’s upcoming production of Disney’s ALADDIN JR, beginning September 22nd through September 30th.

Based on the timeless animated film and hit Broadway show, Disney’s ALADDIN JR. is filled with magic and thrills the whole family will enjoy. When street urchin Aladdin falls for the strong-willed Princess Jasmine, he gets help from a fun-loving Genie to outsmart the wicked Jafar and win her hand. Get on your flying carpet and join us on a soaring musical adventure!

Domenica Passio of Packer Park graces the stage in ALADDIN JR. fulfilling a lifelong dream of becoming a Disney princess. As a young girl, Passio and her family traveled to Disney World during Halloween where Passio dressed as Jasmine, her favorite princess. 12 years later, Passio will once again portray Princess Jasmine on the Walnut’s Mainstage.

In addition to the Walnut Theatre School, Passio studies at the Girard Academic Music School with additional training from vocal coach Nicole Traquillo, Philadelphia Dance Academy, and Powersurge Performing Arts Company.
