2 Injured In Stabbing At Philly Middle School: Reports

PHILADELPHIA — Two women were stabbed at a Philadelphia Middle School Tuesday, and one person who is reportedly a student has been taken into custody.

The incident occurred at about 12:11 p.m. at Castor Gardens Middle School in Northeast Philadelphia, according to NBC10.

Fox 29 reports a 63-year-old woman was stabbed in the side and a 31-year-old woman was stabbed in the arm. The 63-year-old was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, while the 31-year-old refused treatment.

Sources told Action News one person, a student, was taken into custody.

A weapon was recovered at the scene.
