Teen Charged With 3rd Degree Murder In Deadly Hit-And-Run: Philly DA
Five teenagers were riding in a stolen Kia SUV when it struck a motorcycle, killing its driver, early Tuesday night, authorities said.
PHILADELPHIA — One person is dead and a third-degree murder charge filed in connection with a fatal hit-and-run involving an SUV and a motorcycle early Tuesday night in Philadelphia, according to local authorities and reports.
The crash occurred at about 8 p.m. at North Front Street and East Hunting Park Avenue, Fox 29 reports.
The teens were in a stolen Kia SUV, driven by Bryce Neely, 17, when they struck a motorcycle, according to NBC10.

The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office identified the motorcycle driver as Wilberto Casillas, 55, and said Neely is being charged as an adult with third-degree murder, accidents involving death, homicide by vehicle, fleeing and eluding a police officer, accidents involving death while not licensed, criminal conspiracy, theft, involuntary manslaughter, and related crimes.
Video from the scene shows the Kia run a red light and slam into the motorcycle.

Casillas, a husband and father of five, died at the scene.
Neely and four girls, ages 14 to 17, ran from the Kia after stopping about 1,000 feet from the crash scene, but were taken into custody shortly.
The other teens are being charged as juveniles with receiving stolen property, conspiracy, evading arrest, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, the DA's office said.
