Store Worker Fatally Shot Early Thursday In Philadelphia: Reports
A 37-year-old clerk at the Frankford Convenience Store was fatally shot early Thursday morning in an apparent robbery that turned deadly.
PHILADELPHIA — A man died after being shot during a robbery at his workplace early Thursday morning in Philadelphia, according to reports.
NBC10 reports the incident occurred at about 12:30 a.m. at the Frankford Convenience Store on Pratt Street near Frankford Avenue.
Police were told someone was shot inside the store and responding officers found the victim, a 37-year-old male employee of the store, suffering from gunshot wounds, Fox 29 reports.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to Action News.
Police said due to evidence found at the scene, they believe the deadly incident started as a robbery.
