Streets Closing For Philadelphia 10K Race Sunday
Street closures will begin at about 4 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, according to Philly Police. See full closure details here.

PHILADELPHIA — The Philly 10K will take place on Sunday, Aug. 25, and that means roads will be closed.
The race will begin at 8th and South streets.
A will also be held festival along South Street as part of the event. Food vendors, games, and two beer tents will be at the festival.

Runners will head east on South Street to 6th Street, the south on 6th to Snyder. They will continue west on Snyder to 13th Street, then go north on 13th St. to Morris Street.
The route will take them east on Morris to East Passyunk, northeast on E. Passyunk to Washington Avenue, west on Washington to 13th Street, north on 13th Street to Chestnut Street, east on Chestnut to 12th Street, south on 12th Street to Christian Street, east on Christian to 7th Street, north on 7th Street to South Street, east on South Street to Finish Line in the 500 block of South Street

Due to the number of participants involved, the following streets will be closed:
- South Street, closed from 6th to 4th Street, 4 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- 6th Street, closed from Lombard to Snyder, 7 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
- Synder Avenue, closed from 4th to Broad, 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- 13th Street, closed from Snyder to Moore, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- 13th Street, closed from Christian to Market, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Passyunk Ave, closed from 6th to 13th, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Christain St, closed from 6th to 13th, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- 12th Street, closed from Market to Pine, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Pine Street, closed from Broad to 5th, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- 7th Street, closed from Sansom to Pine, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Walnut St, closed from 5th to 7th, 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
The event will also hold a festival along South Street, 4th to 5th streets, S. 5th Street South to Monroe, 4th Street, South to Bainbridge, E. Passyunk- South to Monroe & Bainbridge Street – 4th to 5th.
The festival area will be closed from 4:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
