Donald Trump In Philly Tuesday, Here Are Traffic Impacts

With President Trump coming to Philadelphia to speak at the National Electrical Contractor Association convention, traffic will be impacted.

PHILADELPHIA – President Trump will be in Philadelphia Tuesday to speak at the National Electrical Contractors Association convention. And that means traffic will be impacted.

According to Philadelphia officials, two roads in Center City will close for about two hours as Trump addresses convention attendees.

From 2:15 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, portions of Vine and Race street will be closed.

Vine will be closed from 13th Street to 11th Street, while Race will be closed from Broad Street to 11th Street.

Trump is expected to discuss the growing economy, tax reform, and apprenticeships at the convention held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

There is no word on if Trump will do some stumping for Rep. Lou Barletta or Scott Wagner, two Republicans running against Sen. Bob Casey and Gov. Tom Wolf, at the event.
