Talbots Fashion Partnership Benefits Dress for Success in Philadelphia – 30% Net Proceeds Donated to Non-Profit

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (February 22, 2022) — Talbots is celebrating 75 years of dressing women to make them feel their best. As part of the celebration, Talbots has teamed up with Dress for Success® in Philadelphia for the eighth consecutive year to help more women reach their fullest potential by creating the Inspire Collection, three feel-good sweatshirts to honor all the amazing women whose lives have been touched by Dress for Success.

Retailing for $69.50, the sweatshirts will be available beginning February 22. All sweatshirts will be available on Talbots.com and the Inspire sweatshirt can be found in stores nationwide. Thirty percent of the net proceeds will go directly to Dress for Success, a non-profit organization celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, that aims to empower women to achieve their fullest potential in work and in life. Talbots stores in Philadelphia will also be accepting monetary donations at the register.

To date, with the support of its customers, Talbots has raised over $8 Million which has helped more than 200,000 women get back on their feet. Women have been disproportionately impacted by the pandemic and are facing challenges due in large part to its impact on industries women predominantly work in.

Talbots has also partnered with Give Back Box, making it easier than ever for customers to donate their gently worn work clothing to help women in need at local Dress for Success affiliates.

Give Back Box® provides services to retailers and charities, giving each and every cardboard box a second life to help people in need – so, it is also a 'green' solution! Reuse online shopping shipping boxes, or any other cardboard box, to donate unwanted items: such as gently used clothing, shoes, etc., to make a major difference in the life of another person.

• March 10th – March 14th: Shop for a Cause – 10% of net proceeds of any purchase will go directly to Dress for Success + 30% net proceeds of each Inspire Collection sweatshirt
